What is it?

mkv2m2ts Pro was built for converting Matroska (.mkv) files back into their original .m2ts files. Some devices, such as the Playstation 3, do not natively support the .mkv format. mkv2m2ts Pro was built with Playstation 3 playback in mind (although the program is just as useful for any .mkv to .m2ts conversion needs).

mkv2m2ts Pro offers several options for the conversion process which include single file conversions, batch conversions by folder, and folder monitoring. Folder monitoring is especially useful for converting files as they finish downloading. Upon successful conversion, mkv2m2ts Pro can move your new .m2ts files to a folder you specify for simplified file management.

Limitations

• Certain uncommon audio codecs, such as Vorbis audio, are currently not handled.
• DTS encoding, not decoding, requires additional commercial software to be installed.
• AAC decoding requires additional commercial software to be installed.
